- The Island at Abacoa is also governed by Abacoa POA. Both the HOA and the POA require capital contributions at the time of purchase, along with the estoppels from each.

There are 134 Single Family Homes and 42 Townhomes.
The Island at Abacoa was built by DiVosta Homes in 1999.
No owner/renter shall be permitted to maintain in the home a bull terrier (pit bull or pit bull mix) or any dog or dogs of mean or violent temperament or otherwise evidencing such a temperament.
The Island’s policy follows the Town of Jupiter Sec. 27-1499 Regulations D. A limit of no more than five (5) mature dogs or cats or any combination thereof may be kept on a lot within any residential district.
Pets must be on a leash when outside of the residents and all excretions must be pick up and disposed of immediately.
For 2023: $1,065.00 per quarter for each single family home and $1,070.00 per quarter for each townhome. Dues are due and payable on the 1st day of January, April, July and October each year.
The dues include common area maintenance, landscape maintenance, basic cable, a community pool, a community clubhouse and professional property management.
